Switching Medicare Advantage Plans in Florida
If you are eligible for a Medicare Advantage plan you can join or switch Medicare Advantage plans (like to like) from January 1, to March 31st of any year but you can't join or drop Medicare prescription drug coverage during this time.
To switch from one Medicare Advantage plan to another Medicare Advantage plan simply join the new plan. You are automatically disenrolled from your old plan when your new Medicare Advantage plan coverage begins.
